# 2.8 - Egg Initiative

The **Egg Initiative** is nest's early adopter program, designed to bootstrap liquidity and governance participation at launch. A structured way to help HyperEVM projects launch, deepen liquidity, and align with nest deepening the partnership.

A pool doesn’t create a market. **Liquidity creates a market.** The egg initiative exists to make sure the liquidity is there, sustained, and aligned with the “HYPE Must Grow” thesis, not mercenary points farming.

### How it works

The Egg Initiative's goal is simple: **get the market liquid, keep it liquid, and make it tradable at size.** is powered by the same weekly system that makes Nest a MetaDEX:

**Partners join the Egg Initiative.** They can earn NEST, lock it for veNEST, and earn 100% of the fees their pools generate — immediately aligned with protocol growth.

**Emissions and bribes work together.** Emissions can be directed via veNEST vote weight. Partner bribes/incentives can be added to compete for votes,stacking reward streams for LPs in target pools.
