#### **Before you start**

* You must have a **manual veNEST NFT in your wallet**
* If your veNEST is deposited in **HEV**, it **won’t appear** here (HEV votes for you), you must disconnect from the HEV first via the dashboard.
* Set up **Otomato Alerts** for vote/unlock reminders, see [**Notifications & Alerts**](/tutorials/6.10-notifications-and-alerts.md)

#### **Steps**

1. Open **Vote** and connect the wallet holding your veNEST
2. Select you veNEST poistion
3. Select the pools you want to support
4. Allocate your vote weight (you can split across pools)
5. Submit the vote transaction (HYPE gas required)
